Walkden Jackson
JMS was shaped through the experience of its founder, Genevieve Walkden Jackson. Her background spans public markets, SaaS platforms, digital infrastructure, operations, and real estate.
Born and raised in Canada, Genevieve earned a BComm in Finance from the University of Ottawa and an MBA from the University of Iowa, along with the CFP and CAIA designations. What started as an interest in financial markets gradually grew into a broader curiosity about systems, operations, scalability, and the infrastructure underneath every business.
Over the years, that interest turned into entrepreneurship.
From supporting publicly listed companies to building online businesses after the kids went to bed, Genevieve has always been drawn to the work of turning ideas into something real and lasting.
Living and working across five countries also shaped the way JMS approaches business. It built a real appreciation for adaptability, resilience, and the ways people and systems work together across very different environments.

Today, Genevieve lives in Fuquay-Varina with her family and is a member of Bentwinds Country Club. Most weekends are spent at hockey rinks, baseball diamonds, basketball courts, and golf courses, watching two kids who love sports as much as she does.
Sports have always shaped how she approaches business. Genevieve played on three national softball championship teams earlier in her life, and a lot of how JMS thinks about discipline, preparation, and teamwork comes from those years.
